Two recent videos are circulating showing overt daylight HIMARS operations in Ukraine. The systems can be seen launching guided multi launch rockets (GMLRS) at Russian targets. One of the greatest appeals of the system, beyond the precise accuracy, is the "high-mobility" feature that allows the vehicle to deploy, fire a guided munition, and relocate from its position within minutes.

This keeps Russian counter battery rdar systems from pinning down the HIMARS and destroying it. By the time the Russian artillery strikes the launch point, the HIMARS is long gone.
