A visually compelling sunrise video of a recent HIMARS launch is more than meets the eye. It is a carefully calculated information warfare strike. To refute Russia's claims that all HIMARS systems within Ukraine have been destroyed, the Ukrainians demonstrated a proof-of-life launch at an unnamed Russian target. It's no accident that an American-delivered M777 howitzer barrel is at the forefront of the video either. The Ukrainians are ensuring it is known they are still in possession of Excalibur-capable cannons as well.
