HIMARS Erases Russian Command Vehicle

Footage from a Ukrainian drone shows a HIMARS guided rocket (GMLRS) strike on a Russian command and control vehicle resulting in its destruction and significant damage to the surrounding dwellings.

The Russian crew, likely combat unit officers, were either in the vehicle or the nearby houses at the time of the strike. The extremely dense tungsten projectiles dispersed by the airbursting rocket would have had no problems penetrating deep into the structures as well.

The identification of the target and proceeding strike was carried out by special forces (SSO) operatives of the Ukrainian 73rd Marine Center.
