A trailer for the new documentary "Heval" has dropped which will focus on British-born actor Michael Enright's journey to Syria to fight alongside the Kurdish YPG against the Islamic State.

Enright was one of many Westerners that volunteered to fight against ISIS in Syria and Iraq, all of whom had varying personal reasons. Initially, Enright drew criticism that he was merely pulling a publicity stunt for some future movie deal. However, years later, Enright is still barred from reentry into the US and UK and is reportedly exiled in Belize.

The documentary uses interviews and never-before-seen helmet-cam footage from anti ISIS battles and is produced by Jupiter Entertainment and Sky Studios. The doc is set to launch on Curiosity Stream on Sep. 23, 2021.
