Helmet camera footage released by Russian forces shows a failed advance against a Ukrainian defensive position by what appears to be a fireteam-sized unit.

The video above is recorded on an older action camera attached to a Russian automatic rifleman's helmet. It appears as if they're attempting to make an advance against Ukrainian positions when they come under direct fire from Ukrainian forces. Their advance is almost immediately halted and they're pushed into a defensive posture.

When contact is initiated against them, they're instantly forced to the deck. It's unclear how severely wounded the first Russian Soldier to drop to the ground is, however he can later be seen moving under his own power.

We don't know the outcome of this gunfight.
