A member of the GKNB Border Guard is recorded laying down a base of fire against Tajik troops in what is part of an on-going escalation of conflict between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

This video was recorded in the Batken Region of Kyrgyzstan shortly after the Tajik military made an incursion across the border and captured several villages. The GKNB Border Guard was able to repel the assault, however the situation on the ground remains incredibly volatile and unstable.
