Ukrainian Marines of the 501st Battalion used an observation drone to identify a Russian mortar system and an FPV bomb drone to destroy it.

Modified FPV racing drones have become an incredibly effective weapon in the Ukrainian War. Whereas this target would take several adjustments of mortar or artillery rounds to destroy using conventional means, a single bomb drone can deliver explosive directly to the target, all without creating a noise and smoke signature that gives away the operators location.
