Forward deployed soldiers find some downtime to conduct close quarters battle (CQB) training and it turns into a hilarious failure that was fortunately caught on TikTok.

While one man simulates checking the door, the lead man in the stack prepares a distraction device in the form of some sort of flash bang or stun grenade. Once the imaginary door is kicked open, he attempts to throw the grenade in, but instead, bounces it off the door frame, landing it at his feet.

A quick expletive can be heard before the device pops, giving the entire clearing team a first-hand dose of the flash bang's capabilities. This is why we train... So this doesn't happen during the real deal. The drill may have been a failure, but the lessons learned were greater than if it had gone smoothly.
