Federal law enforcement tactical units have been deployed to Portland, Oregon, and have been recorded detaining rioters off the streets and whisking them away in unmarked vehicles.

Some reports indicate that the UCP uniform-clad teams belong to the US Marshals Special Operations Group as well as the Border Patrol Tactical Unit (BORTAC).

The agents appear to be selectively targeting certain offenders, while ignoring others. Based on the information available, it isn't clear if they are going after mob leadership through SIGINT or going after those positively identified destroying property.
