Eco-Terrorist Mob Firebombs Atlanta Police Complex

Security footage shows a Mar. 5, 2023 incident in which a large mob of environmental activists swarmed the site of the future Atlanta Police training center. The rioters threw molotov cocktails, fireworks, and bricks while setting fire to and overturning vehicles.

Dozens have been arrested in connection to the incident. The worsening protests have occurred continuously over the last several months as activists have occupied treehouses in the nearby forest. Previous police operations against the group have turned up explosives and other destructive material.

The "Cop City" training complex is being built on city-owned land in the South River Forest. The ground has indigenous ancestral affiliation, which is part of the reason why its destruction is causing such a stir.
