Earliest Signs of an Insurgency Spark in Ukraine

Earlier today the earliest signs of an insurgency may have been seen in Ukraine when a passing Russian convoy was struck by one molotov cocktail.

This isn't an overtly exciting video when you really think about it. As someone who's heavily covered conflicts in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, and all around the world, this is mild. What it marks however is the first signal we've seen from Ukrainian civilians displaying their will to fight against what they view as an all out Russian invasion against their country.

In the coming days, weeks, and possibly even months as this conflict escalates. We expect to see activity like this continue, and to further escalate. Already in places like Kyiv and Odessa we're seeing civilians making thousands of molotov cocktails with the intent to use them against Russian armor.
