Drone video recorded by Ukrainian forces captures the moment an open hatch leads to a catastrophic kill on a lone Russian tank in the woods.

While this footage is currently circulating with the impression that the tank itself is still occupied, it's clear from the video that the tank has been abandoned for a little while. Most likely, the vehicle became a mobility kill in an earlier ambush and is still in Russian controlled territory. In order to prevent the Russians from recapturing and repairing the vehicle, they employ a drone dropped munition to conduct a strike on a hatch that was left open by Russian forces, which results in a cook-off of the tank's munitions.

Even if the Russians manage to recover this vehicle, it's unlikely that the tank will be salvageable.
