Ukrainian forces have released footage of the Aug. 30, 2023 drone sortie into western Russia which resulted in the destruction of two Il-76 freighter jets and the significant damaging of two more.

The video is recorded by the drone with a thermal camera and shows two passes in which explosives are dropped onto the Russian strategic aircraft. It's not clear of the passes are over the same jet or two different targeted aircraft.

The attacks reportedly occurred in Russia's Pskov oblast, which borders the NATO Baltic states of Estonia and Latvia.
