The present footage reportedly shows a Donetsk People's Republic sniper engaging Ukrainian ground forces in Mariupol.

It would appear that the marksman is utilizing a KSVK 12.7, anti-material rifle, or some similar, devastating variant. Although his concealment in this high-rise is pretty well put together, he made one major mistake of not dampening his fighting position or at least attempting to reduce the amount of dust he would kick up after his shot.

Obviously we can be highly critical of the footage and run the "what ifs", but to be fair, it would appear he was ready to disengage anyways as he slowly backs away from his fighting position.
