Footage shows the direct impact from a Russian munition targeting a TV broadcast tower in Kyiv on Mar. 1, 2022.

Unfortunately, this Russian barrage consisted of multiple high explosive munitions, some of which landed amongst civilians. Five people were killed and another five people were wounded.

The TV station is being targeted by Russia in order to control information throughout the country. The Ukrainian defense minister confirmed the strike and announced certain TV channels will be down for an undetermined time. Five people were killed, and five more were wounded in the strike.

The Russian defense minister advised civilians to leave Kyiv as they will now begin a heavy bombing campaign against the Ukrainian capital.
