Carjacker Shoots Himself In Head Mid-Flight, After Victim Rams Him

This security camera footage depicts a would-be robber being run down by his victims in California.

At approximately 02:45 AM local time in Hawthorne, four people in a sedan parked at a Denny's parking lot are accosted by the suspect, seen approaching from top-of-frame in a black hoodie. As three of the four victims resist, the fourth is seen exiting from the driver's side rear to get help at 0:06.

0:11 seconds in, we see the victims reverse the car to their left at a high rate of speed, flinging the suspect away. The suspect regains his balance and runs to the road, where his getaway driver... bails on him. I have said it before, and it bears repeating: Always vet your wheelman. Meanwhile, at 0:22, the suspects take aim and floor it, striking the suspect from behind and taking him airborne. The violent impact causes the suspect to shoot himself in the head while in mid-flight.

To recap with some potentially lifesaving tips: Know your wheelman, keep your finger out of the trigger guard, and (I can't stress this enough) don't screw with people in diners after the bars close.
