Leaked military documents, newly-verified by Project Veritas, show that EcoHealth Alliance, in March 2018, attempted to get the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to fund gain-of-function research of bat borne coronaviruses. DARPA actually rejected the proposal, which was called Project Defuse, because of safety concerns and that it likely violated the gain of function research moratorium.
Fauci previously testified under oath that EcoHealth Alliance, NIH, and NAIAD were not not involved in conducting gain-of-function research. However, the now-verified documents show that Fauci actually did carry out the research in Wuhan, China as well as several sites across the US.
Project Veritas was able to verify the leaked reports after obtaining a separate report to the Inspector General of the Department of Defense, written by USMC Major Joseph Murphy, a former DARPA Fellow. The documents were found on a top secret shared drive, but were reportedly not marked as top secret themselves.
The report details concerns over the DARPA-rejected COVID-19 gain-of-function program, the concealment of documents, and the suppression of potential treatments, like Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine. A direct quote from the DARPA rejection letter states: “The proposal does not mention or assess potential risks of Gain of Function (GoF) research..."
Project Veritas claimed the documents were intentionally "hidden" on the top secret drive, suggesting the government or someone within the government was attempting to conceal the report from the public. A DARPA spokesperson told Project Veritas that it "doesn't sound normal" for unmarked documents to be residing in a classified folder.
Today, during a Senate Health Committee meeting, Senator Roger Marshall presented Fauci with the damning reports to which Fauci, again, flat out denied involvement and deflected the accusations with semantics over the varying definitions of gain-of-function.
Incredibly, almost all main-stream-media "news" articles you will read on today's Senate Health Committee meeting are in regards to Fauci calling Marshall a "moron" over a hot mic and nearly no mention of verified DARPA military documents contradicting Fauci's testimony under oath that he was not involved in gain-of-function research.
