Drone footage reportedly recorded in the first week of April 2022 shows Russian-backed separatist forces of the Luhansk Peoples Republic assaulting a Ukrainian trench.

Initially, the proxy troops inflict multiple casualties on the Ukrainian forces. Later in the video, the two sides exchange gunfire from mere inches away from each other and more casualties are taken by both sides. The video ends as the opponents resort to throwing hand grenades back and forth.
