China Releases Their Video Of The Dangerously Close Intercept

The Chinese Peoples Liberation Army (PLA) released their own video of the Dec. 21, 2022 incident in which a Chinese J-11 fighter jet intercepted a US Air Force RC-135 "Rivet Joint" Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) aircraft over the South China Sea.

The newly released video actually proves the Americans' claims that the US spy plane had to deviate course to avoid collision. The intercept was described by US military officials as "dangerously close" as the Chinese war plane came within 10 feet of the American aircraft at one point.
