Interesting footage shows Kadyrovite Chechen militants using drone technology against Ukrainian forces in what appears to be some sort of publicity flex.

Although Russian by nationality, the Chechen fighters do not fall directly under Russian military command and control, but under Chechen leader Kadyrov's orders. They operate as more of a mercenary type militia. The deployment of Chechen forces has reportedly caused disdain within the ranks of the Russian regulars as the Chechens are better equipped and armed than most Russian conventional units. Western reports have claimed that the Chechens have suffered significant casualties and equipment losses making them no longer battlefield effective, and those reports also suggested the Chechens will likely redeploy back to Russia soon.
