A dash cam records some fine street justice as a quick-thinking motorist smashes his would-be attacker before the thug can even get out of his vehicle.

The footage shows the criminal vehicle crossing over in front of incoming traffic to block the target vehicle, and a rear passenger can be seen attempting to get out with what appears to be a large knife with a long, curved blade.

The driver of the victim vehicle quickly decides "nope," and rams the opening door. The thug's arm can be seen getting smashed in the frame and he drops the knife. The motorist then speeds off.
