In July of 2019, Officers from the Jacksonville Sherriff's Officer responded to a suspect, later identified as 33-year0old Frankie Feliciano holding a United States Army veteran at knife point.

Officer Tyler Landreville's body cam footage provides us with a better perspective of how this incident panned out. After arriving on the scene, Officer Landreville stated "Drop the knife" to Feliciano. In a split second decision to save the veterans life, officer Landreville took three shots at Feliciano, striking him in the face.

Reports have stated that Feliciano had underlying mental health issues, but unfortunately was not taking his medication at the time. This shooting was later justified by the State Attorney's officer.
