Apache Pilot Talks Grenades Onto Insurgent's Forehead

An Apache Attack Helicopter that is flying support for an assault force proves that he can do more than just shoot hellfire missiles when he talks a frag grenade onto an insurgents forehead.

You know what, I'm just gonna say it. I love Apache pilots. I also love Cobra pilots. In fact, if you're a rotary wing pilot, I love you. Pilots have saved more lives on the ground than we'll probably know, and they can do more than just sling hellfire rockets and 30mm cannon rounds onto enemy targets. This video proves it.

A group of troops that are part of an assault force have an insurgent fighter trapped inside of a compound. They have a few options available to them. They could breech the compound and conduct close quarters battle with the insurgent, which would give the insurgent an opportunity to kill one of them. They could break contact and let the Apache deal with the threat, giving the insurgent the opportunity to possibly escape. Or, last and definitely best, they can toss him a frag grenade and let the explosion deal with him. Thanks to the Apache overhead, they're easily to go with the last option and smack this Insurgent directly in the face with a frag grenade.

Cherry on top? The Apache's gun tape is rolling, and we now have it saved forever on the internet.
