Air Burst Artillery Rocks Russian Electronic Warfare Systems

Ukrainian drone footage shows air burst artillery strikes on two different Russian vehicles. The vehicles appear to be a counter artillery radar as well as a frequency jammer.

The three munitions used on the first vehicle appear to be less accurate and less powerful than the single munition used on the second vehicle. These targeted vehicles have little to no armor, so a direct hit is not needed, and a proximity burst overtop of the the target will cause more damage to the sensitive electronic components. The munition used on the second vehicle is likely an excalibur strike.

The strikes reportedly occurred in the vicinity of Novoluhanske, in Ukraine's contested Donetsk region.
