Aftermath of Failed Missile Launch in Belgorod, Russia

Video recorded today in Belgorod, Russia shows the devastation caused by a malfunctioning air defense missile fired by Russian forces today.

While the official Russian position on this incident is that the damage was caused by a Ukrainian missile launch into Belgorod, other video evidence clearly shows the weapon that caused the damage being fired from a Russian missile site. According to Ukrainian sources, they believe that the missile was fired from Belgorod with the intended destination being somewhere in the Kharkiv region. Russia's state-controlled TASS News reported that the building was damaged "as a result of Ukrainian shelling."

"Russia wanted to hit Kharkiv with a missile, but something went wrong. The rocket hit a residential building in Belgorod, Russia. Do you think there will be an investigation, that the guilty will be punished? No, Putin doesn't care who he kills: Ukrainians or Russians," Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a Tweet about the situation. "Propagandists will be quick to invent a fake explanation," he added.

Currently the Russians have not released any information about casualties caused by this incident.
