A massive, as-of-yet undetermined blast targeted the Kerch Strait bridge which connects the annexed Crimean peninsula to mainland Russia. The explosion destroyed the vehicular roadway as well as the parallel train bridge. The bridge is a main supply route for Russian military logistics, and is likely to hamper Russian resupply and reinforcements to the fight for Kherson.
