An ironic video circulating multiple social media platforms right now captures the moment a Hamas fighter is killed while trying to stash his body armor. The fighter's intent was to drop his body armor off inside of a building so that he could re-emerge out the other side in his civilian attire, but that doesn't play out when an explosion detonates nearby sending a piece of shrapnel through his spine and killing him.

Had he simply been wearing the body armor instead of trying to ditch it to blend back in with his civilian camouflage, he likely would not have been killed. That is, assuming he had plates in his carrier to begin with and wasn't just wearing a chest rig for the purpose of carrying ammunition. Can't wait to read the comment from the Iranian bot farm saying the guy was clearly just a random civilian.
