Multiple strikes targeted the Russian-occupied Dzhankoi Airfield in north eastern Crimea overnight. Multiple blasts and at least six fires were reported with massive munitions cookoffs being recorded.

The Dzhankoi Airfield houses helicopter aviation units, air defense systems, and cruise missile warehouses, all of which may have been possible targets for the strikes. Unconfirmed reports on Russian Telegram channels suggest Russian pilots have been killed in their sleep by strikes targeting airfield barracks. The full damage assessment and method of attack is still to be seen.
