Video released by the Israeli Defense Force from inside of the Nur Shams refugee camp shows a large number of booby traps that were emplaced by Hamas forces on the inside of a UNRWA daycare center. The traps are poorly hidden, with the intent being to bait the IDF into destroyed the daycare outright through a controlled detonation. Should the IDF choose to do a controlled detonation of the entire center, Hamas would likely have reporters from on al-Jazeera on deck within hours to state that the IDF destroyed the daycare for no reason, complete with AI photographs of wounded children with 8 fingers on each hand.
