This short video, provided by social media, purportedly shows civilians in Gaza attempting to flee a hospital being held by Hamas militants. Israel has repeatedly submitted evidence to confirm that Hamas uses public buildings such as schools or hospitals, and the non-combatants inside, to shield their activity from reprisals and/or make martyrs. Here, as the civilians (waving white flags) attempt to leave, warning shots can be heard, ostensibly fired by Hamas gunmen. They return inside the building, because it isn't as though they have much choice.
